Artwork
In order that your garments are customised to their best potential, it is important that the artwork to be used for the printing or embroidery process is prepared well. We will help you with this by providing guidance and advice as required, each step of the way. Artwork should be submitted in the appropriate format, as detailed below:
Ideally, artwork should be submitted as a vector graphic in AI, EPS or PDF format. (Convert text to outline.) JPEG and TIFF also acceptable if resolution is 350 dpi or more. All colours should be CMYK.

Printing
Screen printing involves the application of inks through a developed screen on to a surface such as a t-shirt and then fixed.
Relative to embroidery, screen printing is a cheaper method, but this technique does have its limitations - each colour requires a new screen. Furthermore, the design may not contain gradient or shadow, but half tones may be used to achieve a certain degree of gradation in the design. Aside from this, screen printed garments wash well and provide a nice touch to your customised clothing for whatever purpose.
Costs:
Setup - the cost of setting up the screen(s) - one per colour/design.
Application - the cost of applying the design to each garment - per item.
Techniques for eco-printing are, as yet, not far enough developed to allow for printing on dark coloured garments. We can however arrange to have your garments printed using water based inks as long as the design and garment colour are workable.

Embroidery
A slightly more expensive method of customisation, embroidery is the application of a digitised image on to a fabric by sewing machine. The upside of embroidery is that you can choose up to 10 colours per design at no extra cost. The embroidery can be washed as normal and is the longest lasting method of customisation.
Costs:
Setup - the cost of digitising the design - one per design.
Application - the cost of applying the design to each garment - per item.
